So if you follow me on twitter then this will be old news for you. But if not perhaps you have seen me….you know, just hanging around in a giant poster sized version of myself at an expo near you…..
Earlier this year I followed Alicia from Poise in Parma to see her PR in the Air Force Half Marathon.
Maybe you saw me hanging out at the Akron Marathon. These rock stars who either ran the half or the full and all did awesome. That course still scares me, so I was just spectating this year.
I may have made an appearance at the Columbus Marathon Expo with my favorite cousin-in-law, MaryPat. She absolutely destroyed that course and then tackled the New York City Marathon a few weeks later.
Of course, I was there for my favorite #dirtyrunners who ran Chicago this year! They all rock, they all finished and so happy that they are all marathoners (some already were)! Pictured below is Jeffrey, John, Kali, Christian and Allison. This crew was lucky enough to snag my autograph while we were out one night, I would say they are pretty smart, will be worth a lot of money….one day
I made an appearance in the Cleveland Indians Social Suite. I was unable to attend in person, so postcard mini version of me was there instead.
I am showing up on fridges everywhere…ok maybe just close friends and family right now. Please ignore the immaturity of the words surrounding the second picture, although I secretly love it (inside I am a 12 year old).
And FINALLY, I made my way into magazine modeling…..ok maybe not quite but I am in the November issue of the Running Times. I swear I only bought 3-5 copies….Christmas gifts right?
Thank you to all my friends who took pictures with giant sized me at the expos. This will probably be the first and only time I am ever taller than someone in a picture. If you see giant sized me, post card sized me or magazine me, take a photo and I will put you on the blog!
My running friends have now nicknamed me “TheLogo”I have a feeling that this nickname is going to stick.
Have you seen The Logo anywhere? I have blog friends in Colorado and Tennessee who spotted me in Running Times and a couple people spotted me in the expo bags at the Indy Marathon.

This may be one of my Favorite Blog entries… I Love it… And yes you signed my copy of my Running Times… My son was like Shes been at my house….
I love Logo hunting at race expos and in magazines!
I first saw it on the CLE marathon website a few weeks ago. If it’s been in the blogosphere before that I must have had a blonde moment because I don’t remember!
I am curious how they go about using your photo. Like did they tell you? Or you just saw it one day? Plus you should be getting royalties on all those reprints.
Ooo I haven’t seen myself on the website yet, I will keep an eye out for that one.
They told me about it ahead of time and told me which expos I would be at and that I would be in the Running Times.
I finally understand why I’ve seen hashtags mentioning logo! I never put two and two together. I can’t blame you for buying multiple copies of Running Times. That is just too cool!
Oh my gosh – I LOVE THIS! How fun! I’m not a runner so that’s probably why I haven’t seen Logo You out and about. Super cool post!
That is so cool, lady! Love that I know the Logo!
oK, i haven’t seen TheLogo in real life yet!! Only on various people’s blogs! I wonder if I have that issue of Running Times yet…is it weird if I make Brandon laminate you???
With two of my running buddies in the November Running Times (You and Barb Broad) that issue is a keeper! The same photo is also in the 2011 results book. See you at the half on Sunday — Joe
Yes! I saw it at both the Chicago and Columbus Marathons and thought hey I read her blog. Never dawned on me to take a picture…silly me…wish I had!!
Can you please sign my copy of Runner’s World? You are practically a celebrity now! VERY COOL
so cool – i love it!
