The engagement pictures are in!!! A couple weeks ago Ryan and I had our engagement pictures done. We saw the ”sneak peak” photos and were absolutely in love with them. Ryan has been checking the mail everyday ever since to see if the photos came in. Yesterday they finally came in and after hours of gushing over them I narrowed now some favorites.
These first 4 pictures were taken at Lakewood Park, I never would have imagined they would come out so good. We were lucky and had some pretty perfect weather.
I love the picture above with the Downtown Cleveland Skyline. I am laughing at something highly inappropriate that Ryan but it got a good genuine laugh in the picture.
Some photos from Ryan’s favorite beer store. Love how clear these came out!
We made a short trip out to Olmsted Falls, to my favorite covered bridge for a few photos. It had also started to rain so it was perfect timing! Our photographer practically climbed into a bush to get this angle, reason #4,684,184,654,188 why she is awesome
If you haven’t been to Olmsted Falls you should head out there. There is a lot to see and not a whole lot of walking.
Of course we ended out photo shoot with some Boston Marathon action.
I have to add that I really didn’t want engagement pictures done, I didn’t really get the point since we weren’t using engagement pictures in our save the dates. I have to admit that I am really glad that we did. Absolutely loving them.
Now I need to decide which photos I am going to print and frame. It was ridiculously hard to pick my favs to post on facebook and then narrow it down on here as well. (I swear I tried to narrow it down)
I have to say Ryan was a champ while taking pictures, he let me pick out our photographer, locations and even let me pick out his outfits. He’s probably cringing at me putting that out in the blog world.
Our photographer, Kayla, is not only amazing but a total sweet heart. Don’t even hesitate to book her, you won’t be disappointed.
Wedding is in 304 days!!! Yes, I am still counting down!

The more photos of yours I see and more of the photos your photographer posts on her Facebook, I am pretty sure I will book her over the other photographer I had as my top choice! Her work is absolutely amazing! I love her style!
But I have many many many many many years before I have to decide.
Those photos are Rozi’s are amaze. Too much.
And I die over the running ones – so perfect!
Beautiful! The bridge in Olmsted Falls is the perfect place for any picture!
LOVE!!! I got my engagement pics done at Olmsted Falls Park with the Bridge too! It’s a great place! They all came out so nice!
These are gorgeous. Love the pictures in Rozi’s!!
These turned out great!!! Love them! The colors are just popping in all of them.
I wasn’t sure about the whole engagement photo thing either, what do you do with them? Then Spike was like, our wedding photo’s will be us all dressed up, the engagement photo’s are US, as in the real life us. Now I’m so glad we did them because he’s right, they are US.
You look beautiful! I LOVE the skirt on your dress, it pops perfectly. So glad you are enjoying your engagement
#24 is my absolute favorite. I love the genuine smiles and the natural body language. It’s perfect!
Everything about your engagement pics fits you both perfectly. Love the pink dress too!
I dont’ know if I’ve ever seen a set of engagement photos that really captured the vibe of the couple to a T. I’m super impressed, it’s hard for me to pick a favorite! (that pink dress is amazing BTW)
GORGEOUS! And kind of jealous they aren’t my pics. LOL. Really a great variety and the color and everything is perfect in them. You both look adorable!
these make me sad for not doing engagement photos – because they are not cheesy at all, they capture you two perfectly!!
wow! these look amazing! such a lovely couple!
