It's that time of year again

Time for new shoes!!!!!

I got way too excited to go shoe shopping. Not for new work shoes, flip flops or boots but for new running shoes. I normally go through shoes fairly fast but since I was injured it was taking a while before I could get through a pair of shoes. The last time I bought running shoes was in April (I think).

Bye Bye Old Shoes

I’ve been a fan of Nike’s Lunar line of shoes for a while now. So much so, that when I go looking for new running shoes, I barely look at other brands. Yesterday, I headed into Dick Sporting Goods and went straight to the running shoes. I immediately picked up a blue pair of LunarGlide 4′s but right next to them was a neon green pair. The neon green pair practically glowed. I love loud shoes.

They fit amazingly and pretty sure I talked about how awesome they were the whole ride home. I totally forgot to even ask an important question : “Do they make me look fast?” I took them for a test run this morning and they are perfect. Can’t wait to take them for a test run after work as well.

Last night I said the only thing that could make this any better would be if they came in pink. I might have said I would “pee my pants”. Well I looked online and they do come in pink!!!! Thankfully, I’m at work so I’ll have to wait til later to pee my pants in excitement.
